Up Gear Pvt Ltd (known online as Upgear) was founded in Bhaktapur with a clear purpose: to give Nepali enterprises, educational institutions, and government agencies access to quality IT hardware without the uncertainty that had long plagued procurement in the sector. Too many organisations were sourcing equipment through grey-market channels, receiving hardware without warranties, and being left without support after delivery.

We set out to change that. By establishing direct dealer relationships with globally recognised manufacturers — HP, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, Hikvision, and others — we built a supply chain that guarantees genuine, warranty-backed products from day one. Every item we deliver comes with full manufacturer support and clear after-sales terms.

In our first six months of active operations, we executed over Rs. 1 Crore in supply contracts — deploying complete IT infrastructure for Tribhuvan University, setting up networked computer laboratories at Mahendra Ratna Campus, and equipping a multi-branch banking institution with laptops, servers, and surveillance systems.
